Call me Nerd, but...

Okay, you probably think I already am...but just in case you needed another reason, here it is.

As much as I have enjoyed my summer break and am wishing for a few more weeks I do get really excited when these start arriving in stores...

I do get a slight adrenaline rush when preparing for the school year, and enjoy getting organized. The only bad thing is with the preparation comes the work...here's to a great 2010-2011 school year!

Bottles 'n Brushes

Once I saw Ashley's creation from Bottles 'n Brushes I had to go! So Mom and I signed up and drove down to Mt. Pleasant to paint. We decided to go on the dragonfly night...this is what the artist version looked like...

I have to say we picked a difficult painting to try for the first time, leave it to us to pick something hard the first time out...but it was fun and I am looking forward to going again. I will give some more thought on the difficulty level the second time around :)

I know I have some very crafty friends out there that would love this!

Sweet Baby Boy

This weekend we traveled to Atlanta to meet Josh's new nephew, Wyatt. He is a week old and adorable!

Although this time it's to Hilton Head...this is the first summer I have not worked or taken class, and boy am I enjoying it!
