This weekend we made a day trip to Charleston to a good family friends wedding. It was gorgeous with a beautiful bride and groom. It was nice to get all dressed up....and yes, I rocked the heel.

Here Comes the Bride: Part 3

After we enjoyed a fabulous Bridal Luncheon Saturday morning, we moved to all the preparation for the "I do's." Everything was perfect...from the bride and groom to the reception. Hal was so sweet during the ceremony...you could clearly see how much he loves Amanda. He was full of emotion. I had a great time catching up with old friends and celebrating the new Dr. and Mrs. Harrison!

Miss these ladies...

What are the chances former roommates, who both happen to be Ashlee S, would end up with Josh's AND they both wore green ties...haha...love it!

And I didn't know at the time but Ashley is expecting Baby R in November...YAH!!

Delicious Cake!

I was so honored that Amanda asked me to be a part of her special day. She is truly like a sister to me. I look forward to celebrating many more moments with her as we get older. I wish the Harrison's many, many years of love and happiness.
I love y'all!

Here Comes The Bride: Part 2

It was a PERFECT day for a wedding on Saturday. The day began with a fabulous Bridal Luncheon hosted by Amanda's cousin, Kent, and her Aunt Nancy. It was very nice and close by...just next door on the Harris Terrace overlooking the Clemson's Walker Golf Course. It was a beautiful view!

The amazing view

Here Comes the Bride: Part 1

I was BEYOND excited to get to Clemson last Friday afternoon for Amanda and Hal's Wedding Weekend! Amanda is one of my dearest friends and sorority sisters. We met when we both pledged Alpha Chi Omega together freshman year and been friends ever since. I was honored that she asked me to be a part of her special day and stand by her side as she became Mrs. Harrison!

All the festivities began on Friday night with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. After a refresher on wedding entrances and exits (You would think I would have this down by now, right? Believe it or not, a refresher course was kinda needed) we made our way to the dinner. Dinner was very yummy and a good time was had by all!

Groom's Cake....It was very interesting watching someone trying to cut this.

The night continued at Tiger Town Tavern...WOW! It's been a long time since I have been out there. I realized how much I have aged, but TTT hasn't. Still the same as when I was a frequent customer. After staying out for a bit, we headed back to the hotel to rest up for a full day of wedding events!

The Royal Wedding

So, I feel like after watching all the Royal Wedding coverage on TV lately that I can take London off my "Places I Want To Visit" list. Well, not really, but I do feel like I have taken a virtual tour of all the historical landmarks thanks to the television coverage.

I just so happen to have the 29th off of school (I secretly took it off to watch the wedding) only kidding, but how convenient. I really do have the day off, just to prepare for a different wedding, my dear friend Amanda and her husband to be Hal. And thanks to England's future King and Queen, I have had a very helpful countdown to Amanda and Hal's big day.

Now, don't get me wrong. I have fallen into the Royal Wedding coma just like everyone else and I will be setting my DVR at 4am. Even though I do not have the day off, does not mean I'm waking up ridiculously early when I have the luxury of the fabulous DVR.

I wonder if she will be in a big princess gown or a sleek, modern gown? My vote, sleek and modern. What do you think?

Celebrating Amanda!

Last weekend we celebrated the soon to be bride in Charlotte. We had a great time! Friday night we took in dinner, a little fun and danced the night away. Saturday we ate breakfast at Bruggers Bagels which definitly hit the spot and relaxed the rest of the morning before we did a little shopping at Southpark. And I cannot tell you how much I love that mall....my absolute favorite!! Saturday night we braved the yucky, rainy weather and hit the town again. We had a small shower for Amanda, a nice dinner, then a dance-a-thon at a bar. I know I should probably have remembered the names of all the places, but I didn't.... I was quickly remembered of my age when I was dancing and getting knocked into every moment because it was so crowded...I am definitley not used to that anymore. We ended the night at a piano bar, which was loads of fun as well.
Very soon-to-be bride :)

I can't wait until Amanda's big day! It's sure to be a great day!

Weekend Wrap Up

Parties, Parties, Parties....

This weekend was full of celebrations for some of our favorites. Saturday night we drove to Spartanburg to celebrate Hal and Amanda's up coming wedding at a BBQ themed Gift Card Shower. It was so much fun catching up with everyone and talking about their fast approaching big day!

Me and the Bride

This afternoon we went to Josh's (and my soon to be) nieces 2nd birthday party. We had a great time visiting with everyone, eating some good hamburgers, and enjoying this yummy cake.

Me and the birthday girl...I don't think she was wanting to take a picture with me at this particular moment...she had her eye on some grapes.

Okay, I couldn't resist. She had some paper stuck to her and it was too funny.

Ahh, Another weekend that went by too fast and another week is about the begin. I suppose I should go grade those papers I need to send home on Tuesday....here's to another busy week.

Happy Sunday!

Amanda's Wedding Shower

A few weeks ago, Sara Britt and I threw a shower for one of our favorites at the adorable Brickstreet Cafe in Greenville. This place is too cute! I would seriously drive here to eat just for the adorableness...and not to mention the good food :) We had a great time celebrating the soon-to-be Mrs. Harrison!

The table decorations/party favors....my mom has such great ideas.
Just an example of the cuteness...it can't be captured in pictures, you just have to go there.
The Bride and Hostesses....and sweet Libby who will join Sara Britt and family in February. How cute is SB? You can't even tell she is pregnant.
note to self: don't stand to the side to pose for pictures in this dress...not flattering.
Amanda and Peggy

All the goodies...

SB was a very good note taker.

One of the many gift pictures...Amanda's face cracks me up in this one.

Can't you tell they are sisters?

The whole gang!

Amanda's Family

It started with a crush :)

I'm so looking forward to all of Amanda's wedding festivities that are still to come! Love ya girl!
