Tiger Town and such

Late post...oops!

A few weekends ago I made it to Clemson to get my late spring/summer Clemson fix. Luckily, I made it in time for the last baseball of the season. Josh and I were treated all weekend by great friends. Friday, we arrived in town and Hal and Amanda were sweet enough to cook dinner and congratulate them on getting engaged. Woohoo! We went and enjoyed a cold drink at the Esso before heading to Lorrie and Darons who were kind enough to let us stay. I was great catching up with the Zelmers...I just love that family! Saturday, I got to play with Parker in the morning. I can't believe how fast he is growing. Lorrie better watch out, he is going to be up and moving very soon! Saturday afternoon, we walked around downtown Clemson and ate lunch at Tigertown (always a favorite) before heading to the baseball game. I was not a very good picture taker this weekend, so these are all I have.

Sunday, some of Josh's friends asked us to dinner at their house. I felt so bad since we were treated all weekend, needless to say we owe all of these sweet and wonderful friends.

What did you do you on your Memorial Day?

I cleaned and payed bills....basically caught up with things I have been putting off since thunderstorms and rain were set in for the day. I know your jealously is kicking in right now. However, my guest room is back in working order now.

After::The top of the closet is still not organized...most of it is gift wrapping stuff. Right now it is being stored in a box. Any suggestions on getting that organized in a small space?

Yesterday I finally joined...

to get this not so fit body into shape (and lose the extra pounds I have put on). I'm hoping by telling people that I joined that will be more motivated to go. Because this girl does not really enjoy exercising.

It's no secret that my absolute favorite store is Anthropologie. However, in an effort not to go into serious debt, I have to space my shopping out taking multiple month breaks in between purchases. I manage this by not opening most of the weekly email updates I get and the closest store being an hour and a half away, but today I decided to open one of those emails and found these...


Lately, I've been on the lookout for cute flats and I adore a t-strap (it makes the foot look great!) and they were a very reasonable price. I hope they live up to my expectations when they arrive at my doorstep!

Pomp and Circumstance

A year of hard work has officially paid off...graduation. I loved the program and not only left with a Masters degree but...

We spent some time celebrating our accomplishment, and Brooks was in town to join the fun. I think I'm all educated out for a while, so I'm going to sit back and enjoy my free time for a while.

Good News Weekend!

Not only is today grad school graduation day, but...

These two fabulous friends got engaged last night! I am so excited for them and can't wait for their big day, even if they just got engaged! Hal actually told me he was going to do it soon back in February, but I didn't say a word. Aren't you proud of me? It was very hard at times. I would of course never ruin a surprise like that, even if Amanda did say I better tell her if I knew...oops! But I think that is a good oops...Congratulations Amanda and Hal! Love y'all!

This summer...woohoo!

Finally, after a spreadsheet to figure out a date, numerous email exchanges, and a conference call to make a final decision, we have a date to get together this summer. These are three of my favorites and looking forward to catching up, relaxing, and enjoying a few cocktails...and I'm sure there will be plenty of laughs mixed in there too.
